One of our hens didn’t make it in to the coop at night. The fox got to her 🙁 But the livestock guardian dogs sent from heaven, chased the fox and then barked for us to come out. Upon arrival to the coop, there was Bon-Bon a Laying Hen just 6 months old. Half her skin on one side was completely ripped off down to her flesh.
We pulled it up, cleaned her off and put a bandage around to hold the skin up. This is 12 hours after the fox attack. She’s acting like nothing happened. Carmelita who had a broken leg and is in her 2 month of rehab greets Bon-Bon like a long lost friend.
