Hydroponic Futuristic Farm
Food Year RoundOur self-contained and sealed growing marvel grows crops vertically for space optimization. 4,350 to be exact. Another 2,400 grow from seed in the same farm under growing tables. Controlled via an app. Year round crops! Even if the power goes out with our backup electrical system.
The Stone farmhouse built in the late 1800’s has been gutted and rebuilt, preserving the stone structure and various unique farmhouse touches like the original pine floor on the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor and roof were removed to build a larger farmhouse with a full 3 floors. Each bedroom with it’s own ensuite bathroom. The house was rebuilt to serve as a farmhouse guest destination. As the CEO of Airbnb Said in Jan. 2021, “farm stays are huge right now.”
He was right about that! Our revenues increased 20% YOY compared to previous years while other stays were vacant. And while the shelves at the Grocery Store were empty, we have food in over abundance.

Farm Stay at Life is Better on the Farm is known by hundreds of Guests who have stayed and experienced farm life in our fully furnished luxurious farmhouse.
We started with the Garage Conversion to Two, 1 bedroom apartments with all the amenities plus way more than you could imagine. On demand Natural Gas water heaters, Efficient new HVAC systems & MiniSplit. One apt has been redone using the old barn wood floor which was replaced. Unique and functional, they serve as living quarters for Farmers, or even the in-laws! We spared no expense in luxury details like this 15 foot solid wood bar table. The lower Apt Glass Doors open to a covered or uncovered patio.
We brought in a structural engineer to ensure that the barn would be able to hold extremely heavy weight loads like our 6 ton tractor or 65,000 lbs of hay.
We have held family events as the space is very accommodating once we transition hay out after winter.
The barn has 3 levels. The lower level has been completly cemented in with all new metal beams and heavy load joists. It opens to a cemented corral. There are 3 closed rooms in the lower level. Up the stairs to the 2nd level and you’ll find a cement floor able to hold heavy equipment.
Originally referred to as the Leafy green machine, our closed environment automated by app hydroponic farm grows over 5,000 leafy greens and more. From lettuce, to Strawberries to even lavender, we have the ability to grow food and just about anything year round 24/7 without rain or sun or even if the electricity goes out.
The Hydroponic Farm is on backup generators, and is fed water from our well. Our Hydro Farm is in great demand. We get requests to sell it as it can be life saving during difficult times and therefore the demand is so high that the used market is seeking supply where there isn’t any. We planned ahead, on everything, for times of deep despear. Almost forgot to mention that in our Hydroponic Farm, we’ve installed 2 Harvest Right Freeze Driers which take that food and Freeze Dry it for a 25 year shelf life outside the fridge. Food which requires no refridgeration and retains 97% of it’s important nutrient qualities uncooked. A vertible prepper’s paradise.

We are 2hrs to NYC, 45 Mins to PHL, and 2hrs to DC. With other Farm Stays further from us, guests inform us that our location from NYC or DC was perfect. Not too far, but far enough.
